since kick-off as a result of few chances for either side. So far it's been an
evenly matched affair, despite Uruguay edging Los Ticos in possession.

Costa
Rica completed their comeback after going down 1-0 thanks to great goals from
Campbell, Duarte and Urena. Uruguay's disappointment was compounded by
Pereira's sending off in the final seconds of the match. This unexpected result
makes Group D all the more intriguing.
